veteran on computer

Robert C. was the recipient of a refurbished laptop from Helena Industries Big Sky E-Recycling Program and Old Town Computers in May 2017.

Robert has struggled with homelessness for 40 years and made the decision to write his memoirs from all his experiences as a homeless veteran.

However, he did not have regular access to a computer. With this laptop, he will be able to spend his time at local libraries throughout the country as he documents his experiences.

Also, due to a typo on his military record, Robert has struggled with gaining access to his personal records, which affects his ability to get housing and employment.

He will use the laptop to correct this issue.

Robert was connected to Helena Industries and Old Town Computers through his workforce consultant at Job Service-Helena.
