Job Readiness Training helps individuals with disabilities improve their work and work-related skills prior to moving into community employment. This service is provided in one of three of HI's in-house work areas; HI Wood Products, Benchmark Textile Manufacturing, and HI Mail Center. During Job Readiness Training, the participant focuses on skills to help them become successful employees. In addition to general job skills, they learn good employee traits, such as punctuality, getting along with co-working and supervisors, work stamina, productivity, and more. The training period is usually limited to 3 or less months. Funding comes through the Montana Vocational Rehabilitation Program.
