Montana Career Development Services

Through Montana Career Development Services, we assist individuals with disabilities in finding jobs with community employers. Our Job Placement Program starts by determining the person's interests and abilities.  We then assist the individual in locating a potential employer.  In some situations, finding the right job and getting the indivdual successfully placed in it will be all that is required.  For others, however, additional help on the job will be necessary.  In these situations, we will provide on-the-job assistance as the individual begins the new position.  This assistance may come in the form of providing a Job Coach to help learn job skills, get acquainted with co-workers and meet the expectations of the employer. This Supported Employment Program will be available as long as the individual requires assistance. 

We also work closely with employers to match their needs for a position with the skills of each potential employee. We are well aware that every employee needs to be an asset to their employer and will do our best to make every employment arrangement "the right fit" for both the worker and the employer.
